Schools' Competition

GreenFest wouldn't be the same without the creativity of local schools. The theme is "Nothing Stands Alone" - a great opportunity to be creative as there are so many ways you can interpret this.  Competition entries can be artwork, sculpture or video. 

All schools are eligible to enter this free competition, irrespective of where they are based.

 A few points are listed below to bear in mind:
  • The work should mostly be done by the children although teachers and parents can help of course;
  • If materials are used, they must be sustainable;
  • There will be prizes for different categories and age groups (and last time the prizes were presented by our local MP);
  • If possible, entries should be delivered to us on Friday 9th September and collected after 17.30 on 10th September but we need to know what your plans are by mid July so we can plan how and where to display your school's creation;
  • Artwork should be ready to displayed, e.g. on display boards if it is not stand alone;
  • We are limiting entries to one per school (although you can submit one video and one artwork / sculpture).
